Welcome to the Web site of Belford
Singers

Belford Singers is a
group of enthusiastic amateur musicians performing beautiful music from across the centuries under
the direction of Music Director, Bryan Gardner.
Singing music which is
predominantly "a cappella", our secular repertoire includes madrigals, traditional and folk music in
modern arrangements, and songs by some of the finest British composers. The sacred repertoire reflects the
development of church music over the last 500 years with a particular emphasis on Tudor
composers.In keeping with
the nature of our repertoire, choir membership is kept to a group of around 18 to 20 singers. Members are
drawn from across north Northumberland to share the pleasure of singing
together.

Belford Singers perform throughout the
year in places such as:-
Wallington Hall
(National Trust)
Brinkburn Priory (English
Heritage)
Paxton House
and churches
throughout Northumberland and the borders.

On these
pages you will find details of both our programme for the year ahead and past performances as well as
news.
