On 6 June, Belford Singers joined other chamber choirs from the area in a singing workshop led by Paul Spicer. Paul is a choir director of international standing and also a celebrated composer and organist. This was an exciting and challenging day, in which we learned much from our fellow singers, as well as from Paul himself. It was amazing to see how small changes in technique and phrasing improved a piece of work. We joined the other singers to sing Bruckner "Christus Factus Est" and ended the day with Lotti's "Crucifixus".
